27 years after Ian Curtis his suicide ‘Control’ came out. A movie by Anton Corbijn, who is also responsible for the above picture, about Ian Curtis and Joy Division. A band that became a cult band after Curtis his death at the age of 23. The movie is based on the book ‘Touching From A Distance, written by Curtis his wife Deborah. Filmed in moody black and white it tells the story about Ian Curtis and Joy Division and the events that lead to his suicide in 1980. I’m going to see it this Friday, expect a review afterwards.
